FARMERS MARKET
The Main Street Portsmouth In Bloom [MSPIB] Farmers Market was founded by the DeAtley Family. Laurel, Craig, and Heather DeAtley recognized the need to provide a Downtown space for the region's Farms and Cottage Industry to share produce and wares with The Community.
​
In addition to booths, the MSPIB Farmers Market also features events, including agriculture education, art activities, and musical performances. A number of area institutions attend the Farmers Market to provide information on events and services, especially those catering to youth and seniors.
​
The MSPIB Farmers Market is open Saturdays from 9:00am to noon, starting the third weekend in May. The closing day of the market is the first weekend in October.
​
The MSPIB Farmers Market is sponsored by our Scioto County Commissioners.

During the season, the Farmers Market is open from 9am to noon every Saturday on The Roy Rogers Esplanade. The Esplanade is located on the northeast corner of Chillicothe Street and Gallia Street in Downtown Portsmouth, Ohio.

Market Prize Wheel Days are an exciting time to be rewarded for shopping at our Farmers Market.
​
On each Market Prize Wheel Day, two Free Raffles for $25 worth of Vouchers for our Farmers Market are offered, one at 10:00am and one at 11:00am. Participants must be present to enter, but do NOT need to be present to win!
​
The Scioto County Commissioners sponsor Scioto Bucks Voucher Cards, and on each Market Prize Wheel Day, we will be giving out $200 worth of Scioto Bucks to be used with any of our Vendors!
​
UK King's Daughters Medical Center and Southern Ohio Medical Center sponsor Healthy Bucks Vouchers, and on each Market Prize Wheel Day, we will be giving out $150 worth of Healthy Bucks to be used for our Vendors’ Produce & Healthy Food Options!
