In celebration of the 250th Independence Day of the United States of America, PJ Davis will be attending the Farmers Market in full uniform of the 8th Pennsylvania Fort Laurens Detachment!

PJ will be showcasing a Revolutionary War Tent complete with artifacts and information related to that era. In addition, there will be musket demonstrations on the Roy Rogers Esplanade Stage at 11:00am and 12:00 noon.

PJ is happy to answer questions about what life was like for Revolutionary War Soldiers. This special event is sponsored by Suzy's Sweets.

Make sure to visit the Suzy's Sweets booth to take home a taste of the 18th century with PJ's traditional bread recipes!

Our Independence Day Celebration is an America 250 Celebration event complementing Ohio's theme for July, "Ohio Gathers: Statewide Homecoming & Picnics."

The MSPIB Farmers Market is sponsored by our Scioto County Commissioners.
