The Annual Paul E. Johnson Memorial Soirée was first held in 2009 in honor of one of one of the founding members of Main Street Portsmouth In Bloom's [MSPIB] Board of Directors.
​
Paul's husband, Kevin W. Johnson, organized the event every year and was an avid supporter of the Mission of MSPIB for beautification, preservation, and revitalization in Downtown Portsmouth, Ohio.
The event is now named to honor the legacy of both Paul and Kevin Johnson by continuing the work to which they dedicated their lives.

The annual Soirée is a fundraiser for MSPIB's Design Committee, which oversees beautification efforts.

The 15th Annual Paul E. & Kevin W. Johnson Soirée will be held in the spring of 2024.

The Paul E. and Kevin W. Johnson Memorial Fund is the MSPIB endowment managed by the Scioto Foundation.
This fund is used to continue the beautification efforts of MSPIB's Design Committee in Downtown Portsmouth.
​
Contributions to the fund may be made during the Scioto Gives event in October and all year round through the Scioto Foundation or MSPIB.
